Derivative Normcore Dressing with Roger Minick

March 18, 2014 • Fashion

Bet photographer Roger Minick didn’t realize he was creating a veritable #normcore lookbook when he set out to document average-ly dressed travelers back in the ’80s with his “Sightseer” series. Oh, but what’s old is new again… or what’s weird is normal again… or what’s normal is weird again? Confused. Anyway, we sort of established that normcore is bullshit, so we’re taking inspiration from Minick’s (pretty awesome) photographs and whipping up some outfits that only look slightly reminiscent of something your dad wore back when you were two.
