Summer Tracks: ASTR “Blue Hawaii”

July 1, 2014 • Music

Another thing to add to the pile of confusion that is life in the Post-Ironic Universe, ASTR’s “Blue Hawaii” is a pixilated mashup of neon and rudimentary graphics. It brings me back to the summer of ’89, back when we had a Compaq computer and all the paper in the printer was connected and had to be torn by hand. The song’s pretty stellar. Happy summering, friends.
