Josef Salvat “Shoot and Run”

September 23, 2014 • Music

Josef Salvat has just released another track off of his forthcoming debut EP, In Your Prime, which–coming right off the heels of “Open Season“–already feels like it’s promising to be one of the best albums of the year. The Aussie-born, London-based Salvat blends modern pop synth with what I can only describe as choruses filled with some sort of grandiose ’80s orchestral, climactic importance, leaving you slow-dancing with your headphones in your underwear feeling like you’re starring in a portion of Risky Business that got cut in the editing room. It’s moody, cinematic, brooding, sexy. Soaring vocals like a yearning heart set to a drumbeat. F***, it is good.
